Who We Are
Gather and Grow Together is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) that carries out work across Wrexham to bring people together, tackle the loneliness they may be experiencing in their lives, support local communities, and build new ones.
On the ground, we hear so many reasons as to why people are struggling with lonliness. It can be through old age; through working from home; losing touch with people; through the after effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns; something as simple as moving to the area and not knowing anybody…
Whatever the cause may be, we believe it’s a real social problem that can only be tackled by coming together and lifting each other up.
About Gather and Grow Together CIC
Gather and Grow Together CIC’s free weekly meets are hosted in spaces that helped to build Wrexham and make it what it is today. They include pubs, social clubs, cafes and other community spaces where the social fabric is strongest.
It’s no secret the last few years have been tough for everyone. We host Gather and Grow Together CIC sessions in these spaces to give something back to the small businesses and local people who are - in the past, present, and long into the future - there for us every day.
By meeting in these spaces, too, you aren’t just making use of our services, learning new skills and meeting new friends.
You can also be sure of warm food, hot drinks, cosy settings, and the knowledge that your participation is helping to support the small businesses that are the cornerstones of Wrexham’s communities.
