What you can expect at Gather and Grow Together

At our heart, Gather and Grow Together CIC exists to bring people together to make new friends.

But our free weekly group meets are also so much more! We engage in a number of varied indoor and outdoor activities designed to bring communities together, reduce loneliness and improve overall wellbeing.

Better yet, we co-design our sessions with attendees, meaning we’re always open to suggestions for new activities and group ideas to keep things fun, fresh, and to ensure that Gather and Grow Together CIC truly is community-led and responsive to need.

At our Gather and Grow Together CIC sessions, you can:

Learn new skills

Try your hand at learning new skills - not just with us, but from the meaningful connections made from others who join our Gather and Grow Together CIC meets. There’s no pressure and you can go at your own pace.

Take part in activities

Always wanted to express your creative side but aren’t sure where to start? Our meets can include arts and crafts sessions to unleash the inner maker in you. We also play board games, host quizzes and more.

Walk and talk meets

Sometimes the great outdoors is the best medicine. Wrexham is full of great open spaces, and we take advantage of them to walk and talk together to make new friends, get some fresh air, get active at your own pace, and explore.

Health awareness workshops

Our health awareness workshops are designed to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing and help you learn top tips for daily life. Additionally, the sessions will focus on relaxation-based therapies, and will provide access to more specific help if you need it.

Support each other

Our peer support group sessions are a great place to bond with others who are experiencing loneliness and isolation. It’s only by coming together and offering to support each other that we can break down the walls of isolation in a positive way and spread awareness that individuals are not alone.
